Raba river

The main fishing water of the county. It may be reached from several nearby villages, wich both offer facilities for food and accommodation. Main species of fish: Wels catfish, pikeperch, pike, barbel, carp and all sorts of white fish. Reservoir Of Miriaujfalu

17.4 hectares. Situated in the neighbourhood of Szentgotthard, in the valley of the Haros stream. The average depth of water is 6-7 meters, there is a also beach on the resevoir.

Fish stocks : Carp, all sorts of whitefish, pike, pikeperch.

Information and licence can be obtained either in the office of the county association or from Jeno Molnar in Szentgotthard, Szell Kalman ter 15.

Gravel pit Lake in Magyarszecsod

9 hectares. Situated between Magyarszecsod and Kormend.

Fish stocks : Pike, pikeperch, Wels catfish, grass carp, carp, bream, tench and all sorts of whitefish.

Information and licence can be obtained in the office of the county association, or in Kormend (Office of Tourism and anglers' shops).
