The Danube river at Komarom
The 1996 hectare stretch of the Danube river running from the mouth of Ipoly river (1708 river-km) to the railway bridge in Komarom (1770.3 river-km)
This stretch runs from the railway bridge in Komarom to the mouth of the Ipoly river on the left bank. Since the left bank of the river is the territory of Slovakia, Hungarian licences are valid for the right bank.
Stock of fish: pikeperch, pike, Wels catfish, carp, aspe, barbel, bream and all sorts of white fish.
Licences can be obtained in "Nemet" anglers' shop in Komarom (Igmandi street), in the anglers' shop in Esztergom (Dobog6koi u. 2-4.) or in the office of the county angling association (Tatabanya II. Banhida lakotelep 107. Tel.: (+36) 34/310-453), where also information is provided.
Licences also in Budapest, in the anglers' shops maintained by the association "Nagybudapesti HE" (Phone: (36)-(82)-463-1 50 Vaci utca 46 in the 5th district and Lagymanyosi utca 14.).
Danube-bay of Pilismarot
70 hectares.
Initially formed by the the results of gravel extraction from the river and is directly connected to the reach of the Danube mentioned above.
Access: from the ferry of Szob, on roads number 11 and 12.
Licence can be obtained in the snack bar near the ferry-port in Pilismarot.
Stock of fish: pike, pikeperch, aspe and all sorts of white fish.
Accommodation: there are two camp sites near the bay.

Cooling Lake of the Power Plant at Banhida
37 hectares.
The temperature of its water is 200C even in winter Access: on the road through Tatabanya, towards the village of Kornye.
Stock of fish: carp, grass carp, pike perch, pike, Wels catfish, aspe, tench and all sorts of white fish.
Licence at the main entrance of the Power Plant.

Lake of the Oroszlany Power Plant
160 hectares, partly warm water.
It can be reached from Tatabanya either via the village of Bokod or through the town of Oroszlany.
Stock of fish: carp, grass carp, pike, pikeperch, aspe and all sorts of white fish.
Licences can be obtained at the main entrance of the Power Plant.
Accommodation either in the guest-house of the Power Plant or in the town of Oroszlany

Cseke Lake of Tatabanya
19 hectares. The lake is situated in Esterhazy park, which is situated on the Eastern part of the town of Tata.
Its stock of fish: carp, grass carp, pikeperch, pike, Wels catfish and all sorts of white fish.

Palatinusz Lake of Dorog
30 hectares. It can be reached from the main road number 10 on the ring road road going South, 4 kilometres before the town of Esztergom.
Stock of fish: carp, grass carp, pike, pikeperch, aspe, Wels catfish and all sorts of white fish.
Licences available in the snack bar on the shore and from the fisheries official.
Information at the fishing association "Dorogi Banyasz".
Gravel-pit Lake of Almasfuzito
11.78 hectares. You can reach it by crossing the rail barrier at milepost number 79 on the main road number 10.
Stock of fish: carp, pikeperch, pike, aspe and all sorts of white fish.
Licences available in the anglers' lodge on the shore or in the "Nemeth" tackle shop in the town of Komarom, (Igmandi utca 16), or in the office of the county angling association (Tatabanya II., Banhida lakotelep 107).
Accommodation on the bank or in the self contained clubhouse of the association in bedrooms for 2, 4 or 6 persons.
