60 hectares. It can be reached from Debrecen, or from the opposite direction of Fuzesabony-Hortobagy on  road number 33. (It is 13 kilometres from Debrecen.)

Eastern Main Canal

It branches out of the Tisza river in Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg county above the dam of Tiszalok. It is 143 kilometres long and occupies 407 hectares when it joins Beretytyb stream in Hajdu-Bihar county.

It can  be  reached from Tiszalok, Tiszavasvari, Berettyoujfalu and on roads number 33, 35, 36, 42.

The water in the canal of an average width of 40 meters flows slowly and continuously, its banks are abounding in water plants.
