Backwater of the Danube at Moson
It is situated in the Revfalu district of the city of Gyor, behind the Technical College. The stock of fish in the 23-hectare lake are: carp, grass carp, pikeperch, Wels catfish, pike, roach, rudd and bream. Zatony Branch of the Danube
A 38-hectare-area spreading from the bridge at the fruit-garden in Dunakiliti to the lock-gate of zatony. It can be approached on the road from the village of Halaszi. Its stock of fish are: carp, grass carp, pike, roach, rudd, bream. Licences can be obtained on the bank and at the county angling association : 9021 Gyor, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky u. 13. Marcal Backwater
It is situated between Gyor and Gyirm6t, the fishing is controlled by the associations : Nadorvarosi HE and Vagongyflri HE. Stock of fish is Carp, grass carp, pikeperch, pike, roach, rudd and bream. Anglers' Lodge in Asvanyraro
The Anglers camp is located in the village of Asvanyraro (Petufi u. 45.) in the neighbourhood of the dike reeves house number 5, 18 km from Gyor.
It can be reached by car from Gyor on public road number 15 (Gyor-Hedervar Moson magyarovar). Buses leave from the coach terminal in Gyor, and stop beside the village church in Asvanyraro.
The Anglers lodge is open from the 15th of May to the 15th of October. Rooms can be occupied on the day of arrival between 1 pm and 6 pm.
Meals are available in "Toparti" restaurant or at other local restaurant’s in the village.
Lodge facilities:
The kitchen in the yard of the Lodge provides a wood stove plus two gas ovens for cooking or warming up food. Dishes, plates, cutlery necessary for cooking and eating are available, please ask. There are refrigerators on each floor of the Lodge and a communal colour television is available in the Lodges lounge area. A separate dining room is available for eating your meals. About 100 meters away from the camp there is a snack bar.
Washing facilities: washbasin and shower with hot and cold water.
Boats:
The boat yard of the county Angling Association is around 200 meters from the Lodge. Boats may only be used by those who can swim and row. (The Danube is in places 8-10 meters deep.)
Accommodation in the camp consists of bedrooms for 2-4 persons. Children between 4 and 14 years of age can only use the accommodation whilst under parental supervision.
On arrival at the Lodge, you should call on the caretaker, presenting him either the holiday voucher the cash receipt or the cheque counterfoil as proof of payment for your stay.
Booking in advance can be arranged by letter or in person at the office of the county angling association. The holiday booking is valid once payment for your accommodation has been paid (either in cash on the premises of the Association or by cheque). Once payment is received a holiday voucher will be issued to you as proof of payment.
The water area in the region of the Lodge is maintained by the association "Gy6-ri Elore Halaszati Termeloszbvetkezev'. Licence can be obtained from the caretaker or the office of the county association.
