Lake of Velence
With a surface area of 2200 hectares Valence lake is the second largest natural lake in Hungary. You can reach it by turning off from the M7 highway to the country road around the lake, about 40 kilometres from Budapest.
Its stock of fish: carp, grass carp, pike perch, aspe, pike, Wels catfish, eel and all sorts of white fish.
It is a shallow lake with an average depth of 1-2 meters
A huge amount of young carp and predatory fish are introduced to the lake each year from the nearby fishing lakes of the Hungarian National Angling Association (MOHOSZ).
Catches also include big pikeperch, bream, aspe and tench. The lake is considered to be one of the best pikeperch waters in Europe where anglers mostly use small livebaits. It is worth mentioning the anglers lodge of MOHOSZ near the town of Agard. It offers rooms with a bath and shower. Boats can be rented here too. Lakes at Cikola
120 hectares in total. They are accessible from the direction of the railway station in Adony, turning off from the main road number 6. They used to be productive fishing lakes.
Stock of fish: carp, grass-carp, pike, pikeperch, Wels catfish, crucian and white fish.
Boats to rent. Licence on the spot from the fishery officials.

Reservoir at Fehervarcsurgo
312 hectares. On the way from Szekesfehervar towards Mor one should turn off the road at the 17 kilometre marker.
Stock of fish: carp, grass-carp, crucians, pikeperch, Wels catfish and pike.
Licence available on the spot. Boats to rent. Accommodation and meals in the surrounding villages.

Reservoir at Palka
312 hectares. On the way from Szekesfehervar towards Bicske, one should turn off from the main road after 11 kilometres.
Stock of fish: carp, crucian, bream, pike, pikeperch, perch.
Licence available in several anglers' shops in Patka and in Szekesfehervar
Fishing possible from sunrise until sunset. On Fridays, Saturdays and holidays also nigh time fishing, with special tickets.

Lakes of Palotavaros
Two lakes of 16 hectares altogether on the western outskirts of Szekesfehervar.
Stock of fish: carp, crucian, pikeperch, pike, grass-carp.
Fishing possible from sunrise until sunset. On Fridays, Saturdays and holidays also nighflime fishing, with special tickets.
Licence available: in Bandi Anglers' Shop and at the Association.

A complex of lakes covering 100 hectares. They can be reached by crossing the railway station in Sarszentmihaly.

Single-day tickets in the anglers' shop in Sarszentmihaly. Fishing from sunrise until sunset.
Bakonycsernye
Two lakes of 13 hectares on the outskirts of the village.
