Lake of Pecs

69 hectares,.  The lake can be reached from the direction of Pecs on the road heading for Abaliget. It is a beautifully situated reservoir with clean water.

 Stock of fish: carp, grass carp, all sorts of white fish, pikeperch, Wels catfish and pike. It is known for its extremely big carp and Wels catfish.

Accommodation can be arranged at the anglers lodge on the shore or in the nearby camp site, meals are available in the many restuarants in the area.

You can also cook at the anglers lodge, get your licence etc.

Licences are also available  in the office of the county association (7621 Pecs, brnz u. 11-13).

Lake of Kovacssrenaya

It is a reservoir of 16 hectares. To get there go from Pecs through Abaliget towards Kishajmas-Sasd.

Stock of fish: carp, grass carp, Wels catfish, pike, pikeperch, sorts of white fish.

Licence on the spot.

Mattyi Lake and Hotedra

The two Drava backwaters of  23 hectares in total are situated 7 kilometres south of  the town of SikIos. From Mattyi, Lake Hotedra can be reached on a private surfaced road heading South. Both lakes retain the beauty of the Drava river, they are regularly used fishing lakes.

Their main species is carp, but very big Wels catfish do get caught in both lakes.

On the shore of Mattyi Lake there is a fishery officials office, with a fisheries official continuously on duty where single-day tickets can be bought.

Lakes of Kovacshida

This complex of fishing lakes comprises nearly 40 hectares and has three lakes.  It is located west of the town of Harkany, a few kilometres from the village of Kovacshida.

Turning off the Harkany to Seliye road, you can reach the lakes on a private surfaced road. On the lakes shore there is a fisheries official continuously on duty, boat renting is also possible. It is a fishing water with a good stock, especially recommended for those preferring big carps.

Domolos-Zsiboll Lakes

4 kilometres northeast of the town of Szigetvar are these two fishing lakes.

Their total sizeis around 20 hectares. They are lakes serving pleasure fishermen and their famlies, which are easily accessible on a private surfaced road, the lakes are regularly filled with stock of fish by the association.

Lake of Majlat

The Lake of Majlat on the bank of Drava river is maintained by the association "Vajszlbi HE".  It can be reached on the road going south  from the  village of Baranyahidveg.

The resident stock of fish in the 14-hectare backwater of the Drava are in wonderful condition, Wels catfish and big carp are caught frequent, also large pikeperch can be caught here. There is a fisheries officials office on the lake side, a snack bar with a fisheries official continuously on duty.
